This important investment gives the business long-term security at one of our key operational locations and supports our plans for future growth, customer service and site development.

Immingham is a critical gateway for UK and international trade, with strong connections across road, rail and sea freight networks. It is also the central hub for LV’s Scandinavian service. By securing ownership of Manby Road, we are strengthening our position in this key logistics location and creating more certainty for colleagues, customers and partners.

Commenting on the acquisition, Lee Woolams, Co-Managing Director of LV Logistics UK, said:

“This acquisition represents another important milestone for LV. Investing in strategic locations such as Manby Road reinforces our commitment to delivering long-term value for our customers and stakeholders. Immingham continues to be a key operational location for our business, and this purchase gives us site security, flexibility and a strong foundation for future growth. I’m very keen to develop the current site and have some exciting plans around making it a green, sustainable site for LV to operate from going forward.”

Owning the site gives LV greater control over future operational planning and opens opportunities for further investment and development over the coming years. This includes looking at how the site can support more sustainable ways of working while continuing to meet evolving customer requirements.

This is a positive step for our Immingham team and for the wider LV Logistics business. Thank you to everyone involved in operating, developing and supporting the purchase of Manby Road site to date. We look forward to sharing more updates as our plans progress.

Darren Playford, Branch Manager of LV Logistics Immingham, added:

"I'm really proud to see this milestone reached for LV Immingham. Securing the Manby Road site is a fantastic investment in the future of our branch and gives us a great platform to continue growing, developing our operation and delivering for our customers.

I’m especially excited about what’s ahead — from developing the site further to looking at more sustainable ways of working. There’s a lot of opportunity in front of us, and it’s great to know we have the backing and long-term commitment to make it happen. A huge thank you to the Immingham team and everyone across LV who has played a part in getting us to this point."
