Royal Dutch LV Logistics is originally a Dutch family business (founded in 1921 as J. Lensveld & Sons). Over the years the company has grown into an internationally operating logistics service provider with over 30 branches worldwide. LV Caspian opened in Azerbaijan in 2014. Our head office in Baku, Azerbaijan is responsible for the entire Caspian region. LV is now the largest logistics service provider in Azerbaijan.
Job description / activities
- Oversee and coordinate the customs clearance process for imports and exports.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
- Work closely with customs brokers and agents to ensure timely clearance of shipments
- Provide timely updates on the status of shipments and customs clearance processes.
- Investigate and resolve any customs-related issues, discrepancies, or delays.
Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in International business, Logistics or Economics.
- Computer Literacy: Ms Office (advanced)
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple shipments and customs clearance processes simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation skills to interact with customs authorities and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehouse, and sales teams.
- Professional and positive approach
- Minimum work experience: 2 years in Logistics
- Languages: Azerbaijan (advanced), English (advanced), Russian (advanced), Turkish (advanced)
- Proactive approach to ongoing professional development
