Key Tasks:
- Allocate all cash received on a daily basis.
- Proactively chase current and outstanding debt via phone and email.
- Prepare and issue customer statements and 7-day letters.
- Liaise with the operations team and customers to resolve account queries.
- Maintain and update customer account details.
- Assist in the creation of new customer accounts with input from the Financial Controller.
- Work closely with the accounts team to arrange contra agreements.
- Produce various debtor reports for managers and board meetings.
- Carry out general credit control administration tasks.
- Carry out all reasonable management requests
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in credit control is essential.
- Confident, friendly, and professional approach to communication.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.
