Key Tasks:

  • Allocate all cash received on a daily basis.
  • Proactively chase current and outstanding debt via phone and email.
  • Prepare and issue customer statements and 7-day letters.
  • Liaise with the operations team and customers to resolve account queries.
  • Maintain and update customer account details.
  • Assist in the creation of new customer accounts with input from the Financial Controller.
  • Work closely with the accounts team to arrange contra agreements.
  • Produce various debtor reports for managers and board meetings.
  • Carry out general credit control administration tasks.
  • Carry out all reasonable management requests

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in credit control is essential.
  • Confident, friendly, and professional approach to communication.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.
