This hybrid role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in warehousing and a working knowledge of Microsoft 365. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment and an office setting, demonstrating competence in both physical logistics and administrative tasks whether operating a forklift, managing stock records, or supporting internal systems and documentation.
They’ll bring a hands-on approach, a positive attitude, they will be someone who values teamwork, takes pride in getting things done, and enjoys being a key part of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities of our Warehouse Administrator:
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods
- Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations and rotation.
- High level of care and accuracy
- Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Oversee the maintenance and repair activities of warehouse equipment and vehicles, ensuring optimal operational readiness and safety compliance at all times
- Deal with both inbound & outbound vehicles following the correct company procedure
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory audits
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and housekeeping standards
Office & Operations Support
- Input and manage data using internal systems (e.g., stock control, order processing)
- Assist with basic IT tasks such as updating spreadsheets, generating reports, and troubleshooting minor issues
- Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to resolve queries and coordinate deliveries
- Support general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and document preparation
- Contribute to process improvements and support cross-departmental projects as needed
What we are looking for in our Warehouse Administrator:
- Positive, enthusiastic, dedicated and able to fit into a busy and productive team
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role
- Forklift licence (essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and internal systems.
- Previous exposure to inland freight operations and customs processes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of warehouse work
- Comfortable with physical tasks and desk-based work
