Started as a family business in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands in 1921, LV has grown over time into a full-service logistics service provider with over 30 branches worldwide. After obtaining the Royal Warrant in 2021, the anniversary of our thriving branch in Azerbaijan is another special milestone in LV's existence. And thus every reason for a celebration, with all LV employees in Baku and regional director Fuad Mammadov as the bright spot.

The festive evening naturally included the entire Global Executive Board of Royal Dutch LV Logistics plus numerous invited guests. Chris Lewin, president of the Global Executive Board, announced that LV employees in Baku with five years or more of service will receive a gold coin as a token of appreciation and loyalty to the company.

An authority in the industry

Under Fuad Mammadov's leadership, LV Azerbaijan has grown into an authority in the industry and is rightly seen as a reliable partner in the Caspian region, delivering quality always and everywhere.

As a token of appreciation, he received from the hands of Mark van Herk (CEO) a Delft Blue plate (picture above). It's a traditional and typical Dutch piece of art, to illustrate the connection between the Netherlands and Azerbaijan. The festive cake (picture below) was cut by Pauline Eizema, the Dutch ambassador to Azerbaijan.
