During his time as managing director, Riemen initiated and largely achieved the desired transformation of LV Netherlands as a traditional transport company into a total logistics service provider. The LV Logistics Group Global Executive Board and Raymond Riemen agree that a different type of leadership is desired for the next phase of the company.
Mark van Herk, CEO of the Global Executive Board, thanks Raymond Riemen for the commitment shown since his arrival.
Mark van Herk: "Raymond has managed to make his mark on the company in the Netherlands in a relatively short time. His decisiveness, combined with his extensive knowledge and experience in the logistics sector, has accelerated the growth of LV in the Netherlands. He is also largely responsible for the desired transformation into a total logistics service provider. As a company, we have a healthy foundation in all respects and for that reason I am convinced we have a bright future ahead of us. For that, we would like to thank Raymond. I wish him every success in his further career."
Raymond Riemen says he looks back on his period as managing director LV Logistics Netherlands-EU with a satisfied feeling.
Raymond Riemen: "LV Logistics has grown from a family business in Vlaardingen into a global enterprise. I am proud that I have been able to contribute significantly to its further growth over the past eighteen months, among other things by optimising processes and generating new business. In my view, LV Logistics in the Netherlands has been future-proofed. I am fully confident that they will be able to continue along this path, not least because of all the expert people within the organisation, both in the Netherlands and internationally. I would like to thank everyone for the fine cooperation and wish them every success."
